Bud: at least two things wrong with your claims:
- If the incoming radiation wouldn’t be absorbed by the greenhouse gases in the air and got through them, it would be absorbed at the surface. Absorbing it in the atmosphere doesn’t stop it heating up the Earth.
- The incoming radiation is at all wavelengths, some of which get absorbed by the greenhouse gases on the way in. The Earth’s surface temperature is lower than that of the Sun so the wavelengths of the outgoing radiation are different and some of them match the absorption spectra of the greenhouse gases, so get absorbed on the way out.
